It is an organisation headquartered and incorporated in the UK, but working across 74 member nations and territories.

We create ‘the Games for Everyone’, innovative, sustainable and socially impactful events, which showcase world-class athletes, engage fans and benefit host communities from all regions of the Commonwealth.
To drive equality in sport and society across the Commonwealth
We create and celebrate a uniquely inclusive and diverse sporting movement, levelling the playing field and addressing inequality in sport in all its forms, so that all people of the Commonwealth know that sport is for them.
To excite and empower athletes and young people
Through sport, we create opportunities for the 60% of Commonwealth citizens under 30.
CGF Executive Board
The Commonwealth Games Federation Executive Board is elected by the member 74 nations and territories at the CGF General Assembly. It is a voluntary group of Commonwealth sports leaders committed to driving and upholding the vision, mission, values and responsibilities of the Commonwealth Sports Movement. The CGF President, elected in September 2015, is Dame Louise Martin DBE - the first female to hold this office in the history of the movement. Click here to meet the Executive Board
