Sport has the power to unify people in a way that nothing else can. This is particularly true for South Africa. In the face of adversity, nothing makes the people of this country come together like sports. It is important to work towards protecting those that exist in it. Every athlete and practitioner should be able to exist in an environment free from abuse and harassment and I want to work towards ensuring that that is a reality.

My name and surname are in different languages which reflects my passion for multilingualism. I love to learn. I relish being in a room of people where I know the least because it means I have the best opportunity for knowledge acquisition. This makes me an excellent communicator and a believer in the value of human connection.
