The Commonwealth Sport Foundation will benefit from a portion of contributions made through MPC - the global movement dedicated to health, wellness, and giving back - throughout 2026.

The partnership will include a dedicated JustGiving page on the MPC website, CSF branding on member packs and a Gala dinner ahead of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games to celebrate unity, wellness and giving back.

MPC founder Sam Heughan is a critically acclaimed Scottish actor best known for his leading role in the historical drama ‘Outlander’. Sam founded My Peak Challenge in 2015 to inspire people to live a healthy lifestyle while supporting incredible causes.

Sam will be sharing more about the partnership in an exclusive Instagram Live conversation [hosted at @samheughan] with four-time Commonwealth medallist, Hannah Miley MBE at 18:00 GMT on Saturday 31 January.

Speaking about the partnership, Sam Heughan said: “Sport has the power to change lives, and the Commonwealth Sport Foundation proves that every day. Their work goes far beyond competition - it’s about opportunity, inclusion, and building stronger communities around the world.”

Adrian Lismore, Chair of the Commonwealth Sport Foundation said: “This is a game-changing partnership for our mission at the Commonwealth Sport Foundation to transform lives through sport. The ethos of My Peak Challenge and the passion and energy of their community of ‘Peakers’ is the perfect match for the Foundation.

“With the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games fast approaching it’s fantastic to have the support of such an inspiring community of people to help raise the funds to deliver transformational programmes in Glasgow and across the Commonwealth. We are committed to supporting Para athletes, promoting environmental action and improving leadership pathways for women and young people and this partnership will help turn these ambitions into reality.

“Thank you to My Peak Challenge, to Sam and every ‘Peaker’ around the world for your support. We can’t wait to work with you throughout what promises to be a brilliant 2026.”

Hannah Miley, former Team Scotland athlete and Commonwealth Champion said: “As an athlete who benefitted firsthand from the support of the Foundation, enabling me to empower others, this partnership between Commonwealth Sport Foundation and My Peak Challenge will be transformational. It has the power to transform lives across Scotland and far beyond Commonwealth and I’m delighted to be involved.”

Founded in 2020, the Foundation seeks to drive positive social impact through sport, focusing on initiatives that support young people and promote equality across the Commonwealth.

The Foundation supports programmes and charities in the host cities of upcoming Commonwealth Games and across the Commonwealth.

Since 2020, the Foundation has raised nearly £5 million to help change the lives of athletes and communities.

The now-retired swimmer received a Game Changer Grant from Team Scotland Youth Trust, which was funded by the Commonwealth Sport Foundation to support her project, Typically 28. The initiative aims to improve menstrual health education for young people and coaches, helping to retain more female athletes in sport.
