The Organising Committee are calling on the public of Trinidad and Tobago to buy their tickets now for what will be a spectacular, carnival-style celebration at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.

Young athletes aged 14-18 from 71 nations and territories of the Commonwealth will converge on Port of Spain to open the Games amid a festival of colour and music.

Kiddies Carnival Kings and Queens will welcome attendees, alongside a youth pan side, while spectators will be able to enjoy Tassa and Tamboo bamboo stands ahead of the Ceremony getting underway.

Following the parade of nations, there will be a demonstration of the sports being played for the duration of the Games.

Each sport will be represented by a Moko Jumbie that is designed to not only glisten in the sunlight but also show movement similar to the sport.

As the Moko Jumbies finish their parade - the Commonwealth Flag will be pulled over the field to signal the finale of the presentation, with performers joining the stage to complete the presentation.
