Representatives from Wales, Scotland, Australia and New Zealand have been taking part in site visits across Trinidad and Tobago ahead of the Games, which take place across both islands from 4-11 August.

They were accompanied by members of the local Organising Committee while visiting venues including the National Aquatic Centre and the UCI recognised National Cycling Velodrome at Couva in Trinidad.

Staying at the Games village hotels in Trinidad they spoke to hotel managers to better understand the games time layout of the village accommodation that will be available to the 1,000 athletes and 500 team officials that will accompany them during Games time.

Accreditation & Sport Entries Workshop

In the same week as the site visits, the Commonwealth Games Federation held an Accreditation and Sport Entries workshop with a group of University of Trinidad and Tobago students, volunteers and staff at the TTCGA offices in Port of Spain.

Applications to volunteer to help deliver the Games are still open. Find out more here.
